Week Three | Harvests, Blooms, and Baby Joys

What’s Happening on the Farm

Life at Stone Hollow is never dull, especially during fig season! We’re busy harvesting figs, and next week’s CSA will include some fresh figs. In the kitchen, we're creating holiday delights like our Fairytale Fig Jam, a bourbon-infused treat that's always a favorite. Despite the challenge of increased rain this year—keeping our tractor busy for 15-20 hours a week—our incredible team has kept everything running smoothly. It truly takes a village, and we’re grateful for ours!

Managing weeds and bugs through the gardens is a full-time job in the heat of summer, keeping us on our toes. Although our dahlias are growing slowly, we still bring tons to FarmStand daily. Once the heat breaks, anticipate a spectacular display as the dahlia gardens explode with bigger and more vibrant blooms than ever! We’re also excited about the upcoming muscadine season and have been pickling watermelon for the holidays. Plus, we're all enjoying getting to know Townsend Russell Flowers, the newest bundle of joy in our family, with big sister embracing her new role with all her heart.
