Week 10 | Wrapping Up Summer CSA and Looking Ahead
Hello, Summer CSA Members! Welcome to the tenth and final week of our Summer CSA! This week’s box is filled with delightful produce from our farm and friends, including green onions, chives, currant tomatoes, naturally grown blueberries, rainbow eggs, and more. As we wrap up this season, we have a lot of exciting news and updates to share with you.
We are gearing up for our end-of-summer CSA, an 8-week season beginning next Tuesday. If you or someone you know is interested in continuing or beginning their SHF CSA journey, you can sign up here!
With the end of summer comes a lot of fall and winter prep on the farm. Our team is busy planning for the holidays at FarmStand by Stone Hollow, and we are thrilled about our gift boxes and specialty items. If you need corporate or business gifting, we are currently taking orders! This is a great option for employees, customers, clients, and more. If you are interested in learning more, please reach out to our team at orders@stonehollowfarmstead.com. This is a first-come, first-serve sign-up, so if you know you are interested, go ahead and reach out so we can accommodate you!
Our dahlias are in full bloom at the farm, and we are taking photos and prepping for our 2025 tuber presale, which is set to go live in the next week or so. This is a great way to reserve specialty tubers to ensure you get the specific dahlias you desire for your spring gardens. The specialty dahlias go very quickly! We will also offer cuttings and seeds during the 2025 season, so there will be other options if you miss a bloom you wanted.
Our heirloom Bloody Mary mixes have taken over in the kitchen, and our kitchen team is busy making these crowd-favorites. These mixes make excellent holiday gifts! Meet the Marys... they all have different personalities, and we have one for everyone! Each Mary is offered in a large 32oz and a small 8oz size. You can purchase these a la carte, or if you are gifting or enjoying with friends, we have multiple gift box options that include more than one flavor, pickles, and infused salts!
We wanted to let you know how much we appreciate you being a part of our summer CSA, and we hope this is not goodbye but a see you later! We love getting to know our members who pick up in-store, and for those who enjoy our delivery service, we love it when we connect over the phone or email. You are a huge part of what makes Stone Hollow Farmstead tick, and we cannot express our gratitude enough.
